The manufacturers guarantee is subject to proof of purchase and covers manufacturing and material defects only.  Incorrect assembly or installation, fair wear and tear, accidental damage or improper use will render this guarantee invalid, as will the application of unsuitable cleaning materials.

Warranty

General conditions for all warranties

Our shower product ranges come with a ’10 year’ or ‘Lifetime’ warranty, depending on the specification of the shower enclosure.

To activate the warranty, a copy of the proof of purchase / receipt is to be provided before any claim can be accepted and investigated.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches or damage caused by impacts or accidents and deliberate or negligent damage.

The consumer is required to notify us within 48 hours of discovering a material or manufacturing fault.

The warranty does not apply to products that have been installed or assembled incorrectly.

The warranty does not apply to products that have been abused, misused, altered or modified.

The warranty does not cover glass breakage however caused, as by its very nature glass has the potential to break.  Profile Showers only use toughened safety glass that conforms to BS EN 12150.

Application or use of unsuitable cleaning materials or methods will render the warranty invalid.

Should a problem occur due to faulty materials or manufacture, then we reserve the right to replace or repair the product; no consequential loss, damage or labour claims will be accepted under the warranty unless prior agreement has been obtained.

We reserve the right to apply a call out charge if the fault is deemed to be through poor installation, misuse, abuse, and non-manufacturing fault or has not been installed / maintained as per the instructions issued with the product.

The warranty is for the original purchaser only and cannot be transferred.

General Legal Rights

The warranty offer is given as an extra benefit and does not prejudice the customers own legal rights.

This warranty is to the benefit of the original purchaser of the product.  It is not transferable but again the consumers’ rights are not prejudiced.

Products or parts that show inherent issues outside of the company warranty period will be reviewed where appropriate on a case-by-case basis.
