Correctly fitted and maintained shower enclosures should provide years of trouble free operation and an excellent showering experience. However, in the event of a problem occurring please read the following trouble-shooting guide to identify and remedy the most common installation faults:
Smooth Operation
- Ensure that a suitable tray has been installed as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Ensure that the base is level and 90 degrees to the wall.
- Ensure wall surfaces are level and true.
- Ensure that no excess silicone or debris is blocking door closure.
- Check that the minimum and maximum adjustments of this product correspond to the dimensions of the aperture.
- Adjust bottom roller bearing screws by quarter of a turn, checking the door operation after adjusting each screw. (Does not include Bath Screens or Pivot Enclosures)
Leakages
- Check the enclosure as been sealed as per the fitting instructions, using the correct and appropriate sealant for the application.
- Do not seal along the bottom of the inside of the frame where it sits on the shower tray, as this allows water to drain back into the tray.
- Ensure the appropriate time has lapsed for the silicon seal to cure before using the shower enclosure.
Concealed fixing cover will not fit
- Ensure the wall posts have been secured correctly as per the fitting instructions.
- Ensure that the correct size screw head is used.
- Ensure the fixing cover has not been twisted during fitting.
